Dark Light

Batman – The Telltale Series to launch in August.

The first episode of the series is called Realm of Shadows and will be available from digital stores around the world from Tuesday 2nd August, 2016.

Telltale’s comic book inspired vision of Batman features an array of noted actors, including Troy Baker in the role of Bruce Wayne, Travis Willingham as Harvey Dent, Erin Yvette as Vicki Vale, Enn Reitel as Alfred Pennyworth and Laura Bailey as Selina Kyle.

Not much is known about the game’s story but Telltale have promised that players will take control of billionaire Bruce Wayne just as much as the Caped Crusader. Expect Telltale’s signature choice-based gameplay to feed into a tale of crime, corruption and pantomime villainy. The word around the game from E3 was a little muted but we remain excited for this one.

The never-ending list of Telltale release platforms

Batman – The Telltale Series will be available on PC and Mac from the Telltale Online Store, Steam, and other digital distributors. If you own a PlayStation 3 or PlayStation 4 the game will be available via the PlayStation Store. Xbox 360 and Xbox One owners can pick it up via the Xbox Games Store. And if you would rather play on mobile, head to the App Store, Google Play or the Amazon Appstore. If you want to play on Wii U, tough titty.

The series will also be available to purchase in stores from 13th September in North America and 16th September in Europe. The retail edition comes as a special Season Pass Disc which will include the first episode of the season. The following four episodes will become available for download via online updates.

That format sounds terrible, frankly.
