NIS America are re-releasing Suda51’s action adventure, Killer7, on PC later this year.

Killer7 was originally published by Grasshopper Manufacture in 2005, and released for the Nintendo GameCube and PlayStation 2.

To be honest, I didn’t think much of it at the time, and I’ve always been slightly baffled by those who connected with its story and characters. It looked a treat, however, I’ll admit that.

Regardless of what an old duffer like me thinks, fans will be pleased to hear that Killer7 will be coming to PC via Steam this fall.

NIS America hasn’t revealed much more than that. The images issued with the announcement are all taken from the GameCube version. We’ll just have to hope that the line that states the game will be “perfectly ported to modern machines” indicates it will be a top-end, high-definition remaster.

Also curious is the decision to make it a Steam-only release. However, we wouldn’t be surprised to see the game come to Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and Nintendo Switch at some stage.

As for whether I’ll like Killer7 this time round? I doubt it.
