Capcom have announced a new RPG called Monster Hunter Stories at the Monster Hunter Fest ‘15 Finals in Japan.
Details are thin on the ground but the game appears to be a story-led RPG. It will be coming to the Nintendo 3DS in Japan in 2016. As yet there’s no word on a Western release.
The Monster Hunter Stories announcement featured:
- no gameplay details
- no in-game footage
- no real monsters
but luckily it did include this rather fantastic trailer which signifies a bold new artistic direction for the franchise. And a mountable Rathalos!
