Papers, Please, developed by Lucas Pope, has won the Seumas McNally Grand Prize at the this years IGF awards.

The awards, now in their 16th year, celebrate the achievements of the independent video game development community.

Pope received the award in front of an appreciative audience packed into the San Francisco’s Moscone Center. Papers, Please also picked up awards in the categories of Design and Narrative.

Earlier in the evening DEVICE 6 won the award for Excellence in Audio, and Gorogoa was recognised for Excellence in Visual Arts.

The Stanley Parable won the Audience Award.
