The EGX Leftfield Collecion is something of a bridge between EGX Rezzed – Eurogamer’s indie-focused event – and the main Eurogamer Expo event. It allows some of the finest indie games to graduate from the industry-pithced indie expo, and be seen by far greater numbers of the general public at the NEC in Birmingham.

The EGX 2016 Leftfield Collection is sponsored by SEGA, and is free of charge for developers to submit and, if selected, exhibit to tens of thousands of attendees at the UK’s biggest games event. Many previous games have gone on to enjoy both critical and commercial success, including Joe Danger, Don’t Starve and Proteus.

Exhibiting as part of the EGX 2016 Leftfield Collection is free, however, places are limited and the selection process is once again expected to be extremely competitive. Indie developers who wish to submit their games for inclusion in the collection are asked to complete an entry form which also contains full details on the submissions process.

The closing date for EGX 2016 Leftfield Collection submissions is the August 1, 2016, and the selected games are expected to be revealed later that month.

EGX 2016 takes place at the National Exhibition Centre in Birmingham on the 22-25 September, 2016, and tickets are available now.
