Tomodachi Life Friendship Fiesta celebrations to run from 30th July until 9th August 2015.
Tomodachi Life is a quirky game that brought a smile to my face last year with its crazy scenarios and off-beat sense of humour. Despite a few controversies, it was a big sleeper hit for Nintendo, with over 1.5 million copies sold across Europe.
Beginning on the 30th July Nintendo is running the Tomodachi Life Friendship Fiesta, which will feature host of activities for owners of the game.
International StreetPass will let Mii characters from all over Europe meet via dedicated hotspots for the duration of the fiesta. This will give players the opportunity to receive new explorers and buy unique Export Items from faraway islands into their game. In addition, players can also send their own explorers on voyages of their own.
Other activities include a Tomodachi Speech Bubble Home Menu theme which can be downloaded by visiting a Nintendo Zone, plus a new Puzzle Swap panel that will be distributed via SpotPass.
During the fiesta Tomodachi Life will also receive a 30% discount on the Nintendo eShop.
