Turok and Turok 2, the ‘90s first-person-shooters with a heady dose of dinosaur mayhem thrown in, are both being released for the Xbox One on Friday March 2nd.

Both games have been visually enhanced – as you can see in the trailer below:

Turok and Turok 2 cost you £15.99, which may seem steep for a pair of games that debuted in 1997 and 1998 respectively, but looking at that trailer you can see why when you see the polished graphics at work.

It’s also worth pointing out these re-releases have multiplayer modes that have been spruced up with new weapons and levels from across the N46 and the PC versions of the game.

The idea of some cult N64 games being folded into the recent retro rush that gamers are indulging in is terrific. Here’s hoping for a re-release of the other Valiant comics property, Shadowman (it probably won’t happen but we can dream, eh?)

It’s been developed by Nightdive Studios, the team behind the System Shock reboot – which recently was put on hiatus after going off course.
