Dark Light

Here’s the new launch trailer for Gears of War 4… and it contains a surprise or two.

We won’t spoil anything but we expect most fans of the series will be pleased with how things are shaping up for The Coalition’s first entry in the franchise.

The new trailer is narrated by John DiMaggio, the voice of Marcus Fenix, and keeps up the series’ musical traditions with cover of Metallica’s Nothing Else Matters, performed by Lissi.

Microsoft have also announced that the game has now gone gold and is off for manufacturing. Rod Fergusson, head of The Coalition, said:

“This has been a real homecoming for me. Coming back to Xbox to lead a studio of talented people from around the world, all focused on Gears of War, and doing so in my home country of Canada in one of the best cities in the world for technology and entertainment has been a dream come true.”
