Former Naughty Dog creative director to deliver the opening keynote at PAX West 2016.
Amy Hennig – who was the creative director of the Uncharted series and is currently senior creative director at Visceral Games – will deliver the opening keynote at PAX West in September.
Hennig worked with Naughty Dog for over ten years and was instrumental in creating the Uncharted franchise, which is widely considered one of the leading lights of modern game storytelling. Hennig joined Visceral Games in 2014 and now is working on a project based in the Star Wars universe, the first glimpse of which we saw during EA’s press conference during E3 week.
Jerry Holkins, co-founder of Penny Arcade said:
“Amy’s revolutionary work on the Uncharted series played an immeasurable role in shaping the modern gaming landscape. We’re thrilled PAX West attendees will have the chance to listen to one of gaming’s leading visionaries.”
PAX West will take place between 2-5 September 2016 at the Washington State Convention Center but if you want to attend, too bad. The cupboard of attendee badges is bare.
