Bloodstained: Ritual of the Night, the long-awaited spiritual successor to Castlevania: Symphony of the Night, has a new trailer.
Koji Igarashi is devloping Bloodstained, the man who made Symphony of the Night, a game that revitalised the Castlevania franchise.
Bloodstained, which began on Kickstarter, was scheduled to be released in March of 2017. The developer then delayed the game’s release to 2018. It doesn’t have a set date yet, but a new story trailer has dropped.

On top of that, for those that backed Bloodstained: Ritual of the Night at the $60 or more price point, a demo is now available. Artplay showed off this demo behind closed doors at this year’s E3.
Seeing the game in action is a bit of a nostalgia hit, because it is a Castlevania game in all but name. This is no surprise; in fact, it’s why the backers were so fervently behind the game to begin with.
Developer Artplay said, of the game’s release date, “Bloodstained does not currently have an official release date, but we will be announcing the release window very soon.”
