Disgaea 5 Complete for PC has been delayed until Summer 2018, NIS America confirms.
Well, this is a slight surprise. Earlier this week the critically acclaimed strategy RPG, Disgaea 5 Complete, received a completely free demo in a partnership with Alienware Arena.
The full game was all set for a Steam release on May 7, 2018, but it has now been pulled at the last moment, and it’s release delayed until Summer.
The demo has also been withdrawn, and all keys that have been distributed have been disabled. A new demo is promised once a new release date for the game is confirmed.
In a press release issued last night, NIS America said:
“As beta testing has been ongoing, we have been fixing bugs and issues as they were discovered. While working on corrections last night, we came across a new issue that requires additional attention that will take more time to resolve. Unfortunately, until this issue can be resolved, the release date will be postponed, and we are now targeting a release for Summer 2018. We offer our sincerest apologies to all who have been looking forward to this release of the game.”
NIS America as also offering to refund any preorders via Steam’s standard refund process.
If you can’t stand the wait, Disgaea 5 Complete is currently available on Nintendo Switch and PlayStation 4.
