Lego Dimensions brings Doctor Who, Gandalf and Batman together in one almighty mash-up.
Warner Bros. has revealed more information about Doctor Who’s appearance in the forthcoming LEGO Dimensions.
Peter Capaldi, who plays the 12th Doctor, will be lending his voice talent along with Jenna Coleman, who plays Clara Oswald and Michelle Gomez, who plays Missy in the long running British television series.
The new trailer gives the first look at the game’s Doctor Who gameplay, including the TARDIS popping up in Gotham City, the Doctor battling alongside Homer Simpson in Aperture Science, taking a ride in a haunted mine car with Scooby Doo as well as squashing Daleks and fighting Cybermen.
Doctor Who has a mixed history in video games but at least LEGO Dimensions seems to capture the fun spirit of the TV show – and Capaldi’s attack-eyebrows.
Rather charmingly, when the Doctor is defeated he returns as the 1st Doctor and then regenerates all the way back up to the 12th Doctor again. Check out the end of the trailer to see the full Time Lord line-up.
LEGO Dimensions is released on 29th September 2015 on Xbox One, Xbox 360, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 3 and Wii U.
