The Following: Dying Light - Enhanced Edition

That’s right, release dates plural, because Dying Light: The Following – Enhanced Edition has so many variations in release dates they chose to release an infographic to explain them:

dying light: the following - enhanced edition release dates

Which is nice and all, but wouldn’t it be great if that were somehow written out in a textual format, so that people could actually find the answers to the question “When is Dying Light: The Following – Enhanced Edition coming out in my country?” in search engines?

Yes, we suppose that it probably would.

Steam release: Dying Light: The Following – Enhanced Edition

  • February 9, 2016: Literally everywhere in the world, excluding Japan.
  • April 21, 2016: Japan.

PS4 release: Dying Light: The Following – Enhanced Edition

  • February 9, 2016: North America, South America, Poland.
  • February 10, 2016: Asia (excluding Japan), Australia and New Zealand.
  • February 11, 2016: France, Belgium, Netherlands, Luxembourg.
  • February 12, 2016: The rest of the world (including the UK and Europe, still excluding Japan).
  • April 21, 2016: Japan.

Xbox One release: Dying Light: The Following – Enhanced Edition

  • February 9, 2016: North America, South America, Poland.
  • February 10, 2016: Asia (excluding Japan), Australia and New Zealand.
  • February 11, 2016: France, Belgium, Netherlands, Luxembourg.
  • February 12, 2016: The rest of the world (including the UK and Europe, still excluding Japan).
  • April 21, 2016: Japan.

Note: Only digital copies of Dying Light: The Following – Enhanced Edition will be available in Brazil on February 9. The physical release will follow on February 23, 2016.

We’re not entirely sure what Japan has done to upset Techland, though.

You can pick up the Dying Light: Be the Zombie edition from Amazon. It’s liable to be cheap, with the new version being imminent.

We have a favour to ask

Thumbsticks has a couple of main aims. We want to write interesting articles and cover games that most outlets won't, and we want to give opportunities to new writers and new voices. And right now, with the current state of online publishing? It's tough! We hate to ask, but if you want us to continue writing what others won't, or to keep covering weird indie games, or to be able to give opportunities to new writers – and only if you can afford it – then please consider supporting us on Patreon.
