For better or worse – better in our eyes, but unfortunately the internet is full of trolls who are never happy – Bethesda Softworks have been stringent in their desire to present gameplay-only footage of Fallout 4. There can be precisely zero complaints of the conniving ‘not actual game footage’ trickery so prevalent through the industry, particularly around the busy events season, because they put the actual Fallout 4 in-game visuals front and centre, time and time again.
We salute you for your dedication to honesty and integrity, Bethesda!

So what delights do we see in the Fallout 4 The Wanderer trailer, then?
There’s a real life Wasteland Wanderer on show – but we never see his face, which helps maintain the sense of player empowerment – and there’s also a real life Dogmeat, which as we know is THE BEST THING EVER also rather lovely. The Wanderer trailer also includes a Mr Handy, various wasteland nasties, and that Power Armour.
