Focus Home have confirmed that Farming Simulator 17 Platinum Edition will be released in November.

Farming Simulator 17 Platinum Edition will be ready to harvest on November 14, 2017, and comes with a wealth of new content, much of which is revealed in the game’s new Gamescom trailer.

The biggest addition is the new South American region, Estancia Lapacho. The new area features unique vegetation, authentic landscapes, a railway network, sugarcane fields, and local cows. To harvest that cane, players can take control of the Case IH A8800 MR sugarcane harvester, one of the Platinum Edition’s brand new licensed vehicles.

Other renowned brands from South America, Poland and Australia have also been added to the game, including Stara, TT, Bizon and Gessner Industries. This brings the game’s total number of licensed vehicles and tools to over 275.

If you’ve already ploughed time and money into the initial released of Farming Simulator 17, worry not. The Platinum Expansion will be available at retail for PC, and for download on PC and Mac.

New players can pick up the full Farming Simulator 17 Platinum Edition digitally, or at retail for PC.

Over on console, existing PlayStation 4 and Xbox One players of Farming Simulator 17 can also purchase the Platinum Expansion from November 14. Seasons Pass owners will be able to download the add-on as part of that purchase.

And if you’re a budding new console farmer, you’ll be able to get the full Farming Simulator 17 Platinum Edition game at retail, or as a digital bundle.
