The London Philharmonic Orchestra to perform the Final Fantasy XV soundtrack at Abbey Road studios on Wednesday 7th September.

Updated: 1st September, 2016

The special one-off concert will be broadcast from Abbey Road’s iconic Studio One – where The Beatles recorded much of their catalogue – and will feature a live performance of music from the forthcoming Final Fantasy XV soundtrack. The world-famous London Philharmonic Orchestra will be joined by the game’s composer, Yoko Shimomura.

Shimomura said about the event:

“With so many iconic recordings taking place here over the years, performing the music for Final Fantasy XV in the very same recording studio is a huge honour for me and for everyone involved. I am excited to be able to collaborate with Abbey Road Studios for this performance and to share the music of Final Fantasy XV with everyone. I hope that music and video game fans around the world can tune-in and join me for this incredible experience”

The event will live-streamed on Wednesday 7th September 2016 at:

  • 7:00 pm BST
  • 8:00 pm CEST
  • 11:00 am PDT

The concert will be broadcast live via the game’s YouTube channel, the Square Enix Twitch channel and will be uploaded to YouTube straight after the show.

Final Fantasy XV has recently been delayed and will now be released – in multiple editions – on 29th November for Xbox One and PlayStation 4.
