Firewatch Release Date

Campo Santo’s intriguing National Park ‘em up has its US release date set for 9th February 2016.

According to studio co-founder Sean Vanaman the aim is for Firewatch to receive as near a worldwide release as the studio can manage. Firewatch is so far set for release on PC, Mac, Linux and PS4.

Firewatch is a narrative mystery in which the player assumes the role of a Wyoming National Forest fire lookout.

While the game’s story has yet to be experienced we’ve certainly been mesmerised its beautiful design which features the work of graphic designer, Olly Moss.

If you are interested in the game then we also recommend signing up for the delightful Camp Santo Quarterly Review. In a world of identikit marketing communications it’s a breath of fresh forest air.

Firewatch is coming to PC, Mac, Linux and PS4 on February 9, 2016.

We hate to ask, but...

Thumbsticks has a couple of goals. We want to write interesting articles and cover games that most outlets won't, and we want to give opportunities to new writers and new voices. And right now, with the current state of online publishing? It's tough to meet those goals! We hate to ask, but if you want us to continue writing what others won't, or to keep covering weird indie games, or to be able to give opportunities to new writers – and only if you can afford it – then please consider supporting us on Patreon.
