Ubisoft have confirmed that the For Honor Closed Beta will run from 26th–29th January on PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC.

Interested players still have the opportunity to take part by signing up at the official For Honor website. The Closed Beta will feature 12 unique characters spread across three factions; Vikings, Samurai and Knights. It will also include levels from the war-torn lands of Ashfeld, Valkenheim and Myre.

Along with the Closed Beta, Ubisoft is running a limited-time, in-game event called War of the Factions. The event is tasked with determining which of For Honor‘s factions is supreme by tracking multiplayer activities during the Beta. Participants will be rewarded for taking part, with players on the winning faction receiving as yet unannounced bonuses. All rewards from the Beta will transfer to the full game when it’s released next month.

Ubisoft have also released a new, typically earnest, trailer to promote the Closed Beta called, Thin Red Path. It doesn’t feature any gameplay footage but it does try to strike an inspiring tone for potential combatants.

For Honor will hit retail and digital stores on February 14th for PC, Xbox One and PlayStation 4
