Io-Interactive’s on-going quest to have Agent 47 assassinate people all over the world sees the eponymous Hitman hitting Colorado.
In a change from the glamorous locales of Paris and Sapienza, or the sprawling urban monsters of Marrakech and Bangkok, Hitman Episode 5 is hitting the wide open spaces of Colorado to take on some entirely new types of target.
Agent 47’s travels to Colorado will see him assassinating four prominent members of a private militia camp (read: far-right, wacko, prepper, terrorist nut-bars) and facing entirely different environments and threats, with what’s basically a military-equipped stockade nestled in the mountainous Colorado countryside.
“This is one of the toughest episodes yet. Not only do you have four targets, but from the moment you set foot in Colorado you’re on enemy ground,” said Hannes Seifert, Studio Head at Io-Interactive. “‘Freedom Fighters’ is a key episode, which will add serious momentum to the story and set up an intriguing season finale for players.”
The Hitman Episode 5 Colorado setting will bring with it a whole host of new weapons and assassination opportunities, plus 70 unique challenges, in addition to setting up some key story elements for the final, Japan-set episode of the first season – yes, “first season” – due later in the year.
