Industry charmer Major Nelson to deliver opening keynote at PAX Australia 2016.
Xbox Live’s director of programming, aka Larry Hyrb, has been the popular face of Xbox since 2003. His engaging social banter and weekly podcast, Major Nelson Radio, demonstrate a genuine love for games and provide as open a look at the workings of Microsoft’s Xbox division as you could ever expect to find from a giant corporation.
And most of all he’s the consummate showman, exactly the sort of person you’d like to keynote a giant consumer event.
Jerry Holkins, co-founder of Penny Arcade said:
“As the embodiment of Xbox and Xbox Live, Major Nelson has seen it all. I will be there with everyone else when the show kicks off, ready to absorb his wisdom.”
