Get Mass Effect Andromeda free if you buy an Xbox One this week

Dark Light

You can pick up Mass Effect Andromeda for free if you buy an Xbox One this week.

Well, here’s a nice deal to start the week. Until March 25, you can get a free copy of Mass Effect Andromeda with any new Xbox One or Xbox One S console bundle. Participating US retailers include Amazon, Best Buy, GameStop, Target, Walmart.com, and the Microsoft Store.

Current bundles include the 500GB Battlefield 1 edition, the 1TB Forza Horizon 3 edition, and the new, jam-packed, 1TB Halo Wars 2 bundle that comes with Halo Wars 2: Ultimate Edition, its Season Pass, and Halo Wars: Definitive Edition. That’s a lot of real-time strategy to enjoy.

The cheapest option we could find at the time of writing was on Amazon with a 500GB Xbox One S bundle including Ghost Recon Wildlands, a bunch of Amazon music and video content, and Mass Effect Andromeda, coming in at $299. 1TB console bundles are currently priced at the $349 mark.

The reviews for Mass Effect Andromeda are landing today and although it appears the game has many flaws it apparently still serves up an enjoyable space RPG adventure. Getting BioWare’s new game for free might just take the edge off any disappointment.
