The new McLaren 720S is confirmed for Project CARS 2.
Slightly Mad Studios have confirmed that McLaren 720S – which debuted today at the Geneva International Motor Show – will be available in Project CARS 2.
The announcement comes after months of hush-hush talks between the London-based studio and the boffins at McLaren Automotive. According to today’s press release the 710hp supercar will be authentically recreated down to the very last bolt. It’s certainly a beautiful looking motor, as my dad would say, featuring active suspension and capable of a tidy 341km/h from its twin-turbo 4.0-litre V-8 engine.
Players will be able to drive the McClaren 720S for pretend when Project CARS 2 is released later this year. The recently announced racer will be published by Bandai Namco and will include over 60 tracks, 170 cars, plus a new online Championships game mode. The game is currently slated for released on the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC.
This is fantastic news for fans of Project CARS, but if Slightly Mad Studios think we are going to run a news story every time they announce a new car, they can think again. (Unless they give us a free car. In that case? Let’s talk.)
