A free demo for Mega Man 11 is now available on Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.
Get ready to play as Mega Man once again – along with faithful canine robot, Rush – in a free demo released today for Capcom’s upcoming action platformer.
The demo features multiple difficulty levels, and introduces players to the game’s new Double Gear system. It also includes some new boss weapons that can be used in a face-off with Block Man.
Players who defeat Block Man can contribute to Capcom’s ‘Bust Block Man’ community challenge for the chance to win a set of in-game items that can be redeemed in the full release. This can’t happen in secret of course, you’ll have to display your results on social media using the hashtag, #BustBlockMan. So perhaps not.
To mark the occasion, Capcom has also released a new trailer showcasing the new Boing-Boing Park stage, and robot master, Bounce Man.
It’s been a good year for the Blue Bomber. Previews for Mega Man 11 have been universally positive, and the franchise’s X strand was recently reissued in the Mega Man X Legacy Collection 1 & 2.
Mega Man 11 will be released on October 2, PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch, Xbox One, and Windows PC.
