Capcom have announced Mega Man 11, a new mainline entry in the iconic action adventure series.

Mega Man 11 was officially revealed today during a Twitch livestream to celebrate the 30th Anniversary of Capcom’s long-running series. The game will come to Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC in late 2018.

Capcom promise that Mega Man 11 will retain the series’ signature side-scrolling gameplay, but will now be presented in 2.5D, with hand drawn characters and environments. The redesigned Mega Man will once again take on Dr Wily’s berserk machines.

Here’s our first look at the game.

The Mega Man series has sold over 32 million units since it’s NES debut in 1987.
