Dark Light

Capcom has announced the both the Mega Man Legacy Collections are on their way to the Nintendo Switch on May 22nd.

This is from a post on the Capcom official forum:

“As part of the 30th Anniversary celebration of the Blue Bomber and the upcoming Mega Man 11 in late 2018, we’re bringing ten of his classic adventures to Nintendo Switch! Complete with brand-new features for Mega Man Legacy Collection and exclusive challenges for Mega Man Legacy Collection 2.”

Check out the trailer:

The first Mega Man Legacy Collection includes the NES-era Mega Man games – of which there are six – and a whole host of concept art, songs, a production gallery, and some added challenges.

Mega Man Legacy Collection 2 includes 7, 8, and 9 – including DLC from Mega Man 9 and 10, giving players the bonus stages, time attack modes etc.

On top of that there are going to be Switch-specific challenges which you can unlock with the Mega Man amiibo (either of the two).

Both collections will be available to purchase on May 22nd on the Nintendo eShop, and Capcom is releasing a physical edition, but that has only been confirmed for North America as of yet.
