Dark Light

Metanet Software, creators of the wickedly tough N (and N+, and N++) are thoroughly good eggs. They give good presentations and offer lots of advice and sage counsel to other indie developers, but today they’ve gone one step further: they’re actually giving away their own work, for free, for other people to use in their games.

In this instance, it’s 200 tracks – a whopping 100 minutes or 140 MB – of free video game music, loops and samples available to download and use in your own games for absolutely nothing. Nada. Gratis. (But it would be awfully nice if you credited them, said a heartfelt thank you, and maybe remembered to mention them in your award acceptance speeches…)
