Microsoft really want you to buy and Xbox One. And if you don’t have one, here are four new tempting bundles.
PlayStation 4 has all the best games, that’s what they say. And maybe that’s true, but that doesn’t mean Microsoft is content to let Sony have this console generation all to itself.
The Xbox One X is just around the corner, but Microsoft has said all along that it expects the Xbox One S to continue to be its best-selling model. The company has been aggressively pushing bundles throughout the last few months, and that approach is set to continue with four new SKUs announced today. Each bundle includes a 500GB Xbox One console, a wireless controller, plus passes for Xbox Live Gold, and Xbox Game Pass.
New Xbox One S bundles
- Minecraft Complete Adventure Bundle
- Rocket League Blast-Off Bundle
- Xbox One S Starter Bundle
- Ultimate Halo Bundle (US Walmart Exclusive)
The Minecraft pack includes a download code for Minecraft, a code for the forthcoming Minecraft Explorer’s pack DLC, plus all eight episodes of Minecraft: Story Mode Season 1. The Rocket League Blast-Off bundle includes, you’ve guessed it, a download code for Rocket League, and the Ultimate Halo Bundle gets codes for Halo 5: Guardians and Halo: The Master Chief Collection. The Starter Bundle is just that. It doesn’t include a game, but does get a full three-month Xbox Game Pass subscription .
Each bundle – with the exception of the US-only Halo version – is priced at $279/£229/€279, and is available to buy now.
