Polyarc’s adorable mouse adventure, Moss, will be released on PlayStation VR next week.

If you told me when PlayStation VR launched that one of the most exciting games to use the virtual reality tech would be a third-person adventure game starring a cute little mouse, I don’t think I would have believed you. And yet, here we are.

PlayStation VR has not been a complete disappointment, but the list of games that really show off the technology – and provide gaming thrills that compare with the best standard games – is shorter than we would like.

We’re not sure if Moss is a game that can change things on its own, but its release is one of a new wave of games that should give the platform a boost. Other impressive titles on the horizon include Sony’s Blood & Truth, Golem, and Media Molecule’s Dreams.

Moss was one of the highlights at Sony’s 2017 E3 press conference, and after going quiet for the best part of six months, Polyarc have confirmed we’ll be able to explore its beautiful world, along with Quill the mouse, next week.

Moss will be released on the PlayStation Store on Tuesday February 27, 2018. The game will unlock for preorders at 12am, and go live for everyone else a few hours later.

Here’s a launch trailer to whet the appetite.
