Nighthawk Interactive is bringing Mutant Mudds Super Challenge to PlayStation and PC.

Renegade Kid’s Mutant Mudds Super Challenge was previously released on Nintendo 3DS in March and is the follow-up to 2012’s hard as nails platformer. Sitting somewhere between a remix and a full-sequel Super Challenge features 40 new levels and five boss battles, all designed to make you want to headbutt a wall. In a good way, of course.

The 3DS probably remains the best home for the game as its well-executed three-dimensional graphical effects genuinely complement the background/foreground traversal game mechanics. However, if you don’t own Nintendo’s console and are looking for a tough but rewarding challenge, this could well be a game for you.

Mutant Mudds Super Challenge is due for release on 26th July on the PlayStation 4 and PlayStation Vita – with cross-buy support – and on Windows PC via Steam.
