Free Ace Attorney demo

The Western release of Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney – Spirit of Justice is now two weeks away, launching on the Nintendo eShop on September 8 in North America and Europe (just three months after the original Japanese release).

For those desperate to get into the courtroom again, or for the first time, a shiny new Ace Attorney demo has just gone live on the Nintendo eShop; negating the requirement of a law degree or being wrongly accused (hopefully) of a crime.

In addition to the free Ace Attorney demo Capcom have released a fully voiced animated eight-minute prologue showing how Phoenix Wright et al find themselves on the island of Khura’in, a land where defence attorneys are deemed unnecessary. So, the perfect place for Phoenix Wright, then.

We have a favour to ask

Thumbsticks has a couple of main aims. We want to write interesting articles and cover games that most outlets won't, and we want to give opportunities to new writers and new voices. And right now, with the current state of online publishing? It's tough! We hate to ask, but if you want us to continue writing what others won't, or to keep covering weird indie games, or to be able to give opportunities to new writers – and only if you can afford it – then please consider supporting us on Patreon.
