Nintendo eShop releases

Here’s your round-up of the week’s Nintendo eShop releases.

The gaps in the Wii U’s library have long been documented. That initial glut of third-party releases – Mass Effect 3, Assassin’s Creed 3, Batman Arkham City and so on – soon dropped off, meaning it was down to Nintendo to provide top quality games for their home console.

And after a slow start, it’s something they have mostly achieved. Games like Splatoon, Super Mario Maker, Smash Bros. and Mario Kart 8 are all fantastic exclusive titles that make the Wii U worth owning. But one thing the Wii U still doesn’t have is the aquarium simulator we’ve all dreamed of. Hopefully this is the week that all changes.

Aqua TV – from EM Studios – lets you choose a tank and then customise its floor, walls, decorations and fish to create a completely personalised aquarium that you can, well, stare at. So, enjoy that.

Here’s the rest of this week’s Nintendo eShop line-up:

Nintendo eShop releases for 17 November, 2016

  • Aqua TV – €4.70 / £3.99 / CHF 5.10

Nintendo 3DS

  • Lionel City Builder 3D: Rise of the Rails – €4.99 / £4.49 / CHF 7.00
