Here’s the full lineup of games released this week on the Nintendo eShop for the Switch, 3DS, and Wii U.
This week sees the arrival of three super-cool games from 2D Boy/Tomorrow Corporation on Nintendo Switch. Whilst it’s easy to be a little sniffy about their release – World of Goo is nine years old, after all – there’s no denying their quality.
Word of Goo is a genuine classic. The Nintendo Switch version adds two-player co-op and supports both the touchscreen in handheld mode, and motion controls for TV play. It’s joined by Human Resource Machine, and the underrated but delightful, Little Inferno.
Over on Nintendo 3DS it’s time to grab a box of tissues as we say Bye-Bye BoxBoy! This wonderful series of masterful 2D platformers comes to a close with a third and final game from Hal Laboratory. Here’s hoping Qbby and friends return on the Nintendo Switch at some point in the future. If you want to sample the game, a free demo is still available to download from the eShop.
