Nintendo eShop releases

BoxBoxBoy! is delivered to the Nintendo eShop this week.

What do we have here? The strongest eShop release line-up for quite some time, that’s what.

First, there’s Lego Star Wars: The Force Awakens which comes to both Wii U and 3DS. There’s also the long-awaited release for the latest title in the Zero Escape series, Zero Time Dilemma.

Both are good games, but the biggest reason to be excited – as far as we’re concerned – is for the release of BoxBoxBoy!.

We loved BoxBoy!, the game’s predecessor, and can’t wait to see how the simple, but oh so delightful, mechanics are developed even further by Hal Laboratory.

In addition there are free demos for the wonderful Runbow and the forthcoming Monster Hunter Generations.

Here’s the full release list.

We have a favour to ask

Thumbsticks has a couple of main aims. We want to write interesting articles and cover games that most outlets won't, and we want to give opportunities to new writers and new voices. And right now, with the current state of online publishing? It's tough! We hate to ask, but if you want us to continue writing what others won't, or to keep covering weird indie games, or to be able to give opportunities to new writers – and only if you can afford it – then please consider supporting us on Patreon.
