Here’s the lowdown on this week’s lineup of new eShop releases for the Nintendo Switch.
Much of the world will be kicking back for the holidays this week, but the Nintendo eShop never closes. This week’s lineup of new releases includes more than 30 games, some arriving on Christmas Day. It also features that rarest of things, a new release for the Wii U.
In all honesty, it’s a week full of shrugs, but there a few decent games to note. Our pick is Demon’s Tilt, the occult-themed hack n’ slash pinball game you never knew you wanted. The game has received a great response on PC and looks like a perfect fit for the Switch. It’s definitely one for fans of TurboGrafx-16 classic, Devil’s Crush.
Another game making the jump from PC to console is XenoRaptor. It’s a chaotic bullet-hell shooter that has become a cult favourite since its release in 2014.
Other new releases include Hamster Corporation’s Arcade Archives VS. Balloon Fight, arena-based FPS Demon Pit, and strategy sequel, Warhammer Quest 2: The End Times.
And that Wii U game? It’s the long-delayed physics-puzzler, Drop It: Block Paradise.
