Dark Light

The wonderful Okami is coming to PlayStation 4, Xbox One and Windows PC in December.

Capcom has confirmed that the game is getting its second HD remaster, and will be released on December 12, 2017.

I’ll put my cards on the table. Okami is one of the best games I’ve ever played. A complex and thrilling adventure that evokes the Zelda series and wraps it in a sumptuous Sumi-e ink art style. If you haven’t played it before, don’t miss the opportunity this time round.

Okami HD

Originally released for the PlayStation 2 in 2006, Okami received a fine port on Wii in 2008 – with surprisingly decent motion controls – and its first HD remaster in 2012 for the PlayStation 3. The newest version supports 4K graphics on Xbox One X, PS4 Pro and supported PC hardware.

Okami HD also sees the return of the interactive loading screens that were cut from the Wii and PS3 ports, plus the ability to switch between 16:9 and the original 4:3 ratios.

Here’s a look at new version in action.

Okami HD will be available at retail, and digitally priced £15.99/€19.99/$19.99 on December 12, 2017.

And as everyone has said it, so shall we. Where’s the Nintendo Switch version, Capcom?
