PAX Australia 2017

Tickets for this year’s PAX Australia are now available to purchase from the official event website.

This year’s event – which is the fifth to be held in Australia – runs from October 27 – 29, 2017, at the Melbourne Convention and Exhibition Centre.

The expo will give video game fans the opportunity to play a host of upcoming AAA and indie titles before their release. Game industry developers will be in attendance to share their thoughts, expertise and experiences at a range of audience Q&A sessions. The line-up of events will also include game inspired music concerts, cosplay events, and competitive video game tournaments featuring some the regions best eSports stars.

Jerry Holkins, co-founder of PAX and Penny Arcade, said:

“Melbourne has made every PAX Australia feel like our true home away from home; seeing the passion resonate from attendees as they check out upcoming games and connect over personal favorites throughout the convention centre is exhilarating,”

We hate to ask, but...

Thumbsticks has a couple of goals. We want to write interesting articles and cover games that most outlets won't, and we want to give opportunities to new writers and new voices. And right now, with the current state of online publishing? It's tough to meet those goals! We hate to ask, but if you want us to continue writing what others won't, or to keep covering weird indie games, or to be able to give opportunities to new writers – and only if you can afford it – then please consider supporting us on Patreon.
