Due out later this year, Pillars of Eternity II is now headed to PS4, Xbox One, and Switch as well as the PC – as reported by Game Informer.

Pillars of Eternity II: Deadfire, the sequel to 2015’s Pillars of Eternity, has been in development for a couple of years, and last month it was given a release date.

The console version of the first game followed more than a year after its PC release, but console fans can expect the sequel this holiday season.

Obsidian is developing the game for the PC, while Red Cerberus is taking on the console ports.

The first Pillars of Eternity was a nostalgic trip down memory lane for RPG enthusiasts, replete with staples from the heyday of games like Planescape Torment and Baldur’s Gate.

Even though the console wasn’t the best way to play – the game pad not matching up to a mouse and keyboard – it’s still a great game well worth playing.

Pillars of Eternity II: Deadfire is due out on PC on April 3rd.
