Sony announces an impressive PlayStation Plus line-up for October.
The PlayStation Plus programme has taken a few knocks in recent months. The line-up of free games was disappointing throughout the summer and, of course, there was that price increase.
This month’s game selection is much stronger however, with a number of solid titles coming to all platforms.
PlayStation 4 owners get the pick of the bunch with the inclusion of the recent Resident Evil HD remaster. It’s an old game, for sure, but it remains a classic that’s always worth returning to. And if you’re a newcomer to the series the game should act as an enjoyable primer before the franchise returns in 2017.
Also on PlayStation 4 is the fantastic Transformers: Devastation from PlatinumGames. The game hits all the right nostalgic notes and is an engaging piece of knock-about fun, something that can’t be said for Platinum’s recent Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles title.
From Dust – which comes to PS3 – is not to everyone’s taste but is certainly worth a look if you are a fan of the god game genre, or dust.
Here’s the full line-up:
