Lots of new/old games give this week’s PlayStation Store line-up a distinctly retro feel.
Sony may be intent on pushing technological boundaries with the recently announced PS4 Pro but you might wonder if it’s worth the bother when so many games are reboots, remasters or sequels to older titles. Still, when those games are the quality of Bioshock and Pac-Man Championship Edition it’s hard to complain too much.
The most intriguing of this week’s PlayStation store releases is certainly the remastered Bioshock: The Collection. From our brief time with the game at Gamescom return trips to Rapture and Columbia look extremely likely.
Other new/old games released this week include the Dead Rising Triple Pack and Don’t Starve Together, the stand-alone, multiplayer expansion to Klei Entertainment’s popular survival game.
And if you want to something completely new/old school, Pac-Man Championship Edition 2 is unlikely to disappoint, either.
