Here’s your round-up of the PlayStation Store releases for Tuesday 27 September, 2016.
EA Sports’ FIFA 17 comes to PlayStation 4 this week with a host of new features and a lot to prove.
For the first time the long-running franchise will feature real Premier League managers standing on the touchline. FIFA 17 also sees the series move to EA’s Frostbite engine and the introduction of a new, RPG-like career mode called The Journey. Early reviews have been mixed but it’s unlikely to stop the game being another sales behemoth.
There’s a smaller than usual line-up of indie games this week but Zheros seems like good fun and Lichtspeer looks to be the lightspear-throwing simulator we’ve always dreamed of. Seriously.
And finally, this week also sees the long-awaited release of XCOM 2, which comes to console seven months after its PC debut.
