An updated version of Virtua Fighter 5 headlines the new PlayStation Store games coming to PS4 and PS5.
Virtua Fighter 5: Ultimate Showdown arrives on PlayStation 4 (and PS5) this week. The updated version of the 2006 arcade classic includes HD graphics, updated character and stage models, and a host of online modes. The game is a PlayStation console exclusive and also one of June’s PS Plus titles.
Another new release coming to PS Plus – but only for PS5 owners – is Operation: Tango from Clever-Plays Studio. It’s an espionage-themed co-op adventure set in a high-tech near-future world. If the puzzles are challenging enough, this could be a surprise online multiplayer hit that captures some of that Portal 2 co-op magic.
Other new releases include Necromunda: Hired Gun, a new FPS set in the Warhammer 40K universe, and Ghosts ‘n Goblins Resurrection, the divisive but fundamentally faithful reimagining of Capcom’s classic arcade game.
