Pokémon TCG: Sun & Moon - Guardians Rising

The second expansion in the latest Pokémon Trading Card Game series, Sun & Moon—Guardians Rising, is out now.

The Sun & Moon—Guardians Rising expansion features Alolan locations and characters from last year’s best-selling Nintendo 3DS titles, Pokémon Sun and Moon.

There are over 140 new cards in total, including 12 new Pokémon-GX, and three full-art Supporter cards. Fan favourite characters such as Kahuna Hala and Captain Mallow make the cut, as do the island guardians, Tapu Koko-GX and Tapu Lele-GX. Also making their debut are many of the new Alolan variants such as Rattata, Diglett, Meowth, and Geodude.

You can also buy two, 60-card preconstructed decks, that feature the Legendary Solgaleo and Lunala. These decks are specifically designed to introduce newcomers to the Pokémon Trading Card Game by containing a carefully constructed selection of cards suited for immediate play. If you haven’t played the game before this is definitely our recommended entry-point.

Booster packs are also available. They contain ten additional cards from the expansion, plus a code card for the online version of the game. If you’re based in the UK you pick up the latest TCG packs from stores including, Tesco, WH Smith, Toys R Us, Game and Waterstones.

If you play the online version of the game, don’t fret, the Sun & Moon—Guardians Rising expansion is also available to download from today.
