Co-op action-RPG Portal Knights will be released on Nintendo Switch this month.

505 Games have confirmed that Portal Knights, the jaunty RPG from developer Keen Games – will be released on the Nintendo Switch eShop on November 23, 2017. A physical release will follow in February, 2018.

The game – which was released on Steam in 2016, and came to PlayStation 4 and Xbox One earlier this year – arrives on Switch with a smattering of console specific additions.

When playing in handheld mode, the touch screen can be used to manage inventory. And in addition to the game’s standard online multiplayer mode, four players can play in split-screen by connecting two Switch systems, or in full screen handheld mode by connecting four consoles.

The Switch version will also have immediate access to Portal Knight’s v1.2 update, which features new locations, boss quests, enemies and cosmetics.

Portal Knights will be priced at £24.99 in the UK, and is available to digital preorder now. The game is also in development for smart devices, and is due for release before the end of 2017.
