The first expansion pack for Project Cars 2 has been announced, and it’s coming soon this winter. Called The Fun Pack, it will bring new cars and a new course.
The Circuit De Barcelona-Catalunya Rallycross is the new course added to the game, a sundried track with extremely fast opening corners on tarmac, and plenty of flat-out sections.
There’s a selection of dangerous new cars thrown into the mix as well: three of “the most brutal, violent, and dangerous cars in motorsport history.”
Featuring Matthias Ekstrom’s Audi S1 EKS RX Quattro; Vaughn Gittin Jr.’s 1969 Ford Bronco, Ford Mustang RTR Spec, and his Ford Mustang ’66 RTR; and Petter Solberg’s Citroen DS3 RX Supercar.
Along with the new cars and track, there are new liveries available to customise your cars, taken from “major eSports racing teams.” You’ll have a chance to show these off in the four new Invitational Events that will be added as well.
Players with the Project Cars 2 season pass will have access to the expansion, along with the three other expansions that are set to release later on down the line.
The Fun Pack is scheduled to release this winter for PS4, Xbox One, and PC.
