Time’s running out if you want to get Regirock, Regice, and Registeel from Pokémon Bank.
There’s only a month to go until the release of Pokémon Sun and Moon. If you’ve played the previous 3DS games in the series you might be thinking of using Pokémon Bank to transfer your Pokédex to Sun and Moon once they become compatible in January, 2017. If you haven’t signed up to Pokémon Bank already, our advice is to do it this week.
Since March players who access Pokémon Bank have been able to download a free level 50 Regirock, Regice, and Registeel, with each possessing a Hidden Ability. However, the promotion ends on Monday 31st October so if you’re in the market for this trio of sturdy Pokémon, you’re running out of time.
The included Hidden Abilities are traits these Pokémon do not possess if you catch them in Omega Ruby or Alpha Sapphire directly.
Regirock
- Level: 50
- Hidden Ability: Sturdy
- Moves: Explosion, Ice Punch, Stone Edge, Hammer Arm
Regice
- Level: 50
- Hidden Ability: Ice Body
- Moves: Thunderbolt, Amnesia, Ice Beam, Hail
Registeel
- Level: 50
- Hidden Ability: Light Metal
- Moves: Iron Head, Rock Slide, Gravity, Iron Defense
Stored Pokémon can be transferred between Pokémon X, Y, Omega Ruby, Alpha Sapphire and – after the update scheduled for January 2017 – Sun and Moon. The update will also allow the one way transfer of Pokémon from the Virtual Console releases of Red, Blue and Yellow using Poké Transporter.
Pokémon Bank is available to download via the Nintendo eShop and requires an annual membership fee of £4.49 / €4,99.
