The complete edition of the stealth action game République is coming to PlayStation 4 in 2016 reports Eurogamer.
The game was originally envisaged as a Triple-A title designed specifically for mobile devices, and was initially funded by a successful Kickstarter campaign.
République has since seen an episodic release on iOS, Android, and in a remastered form on PC and Mac. So far three episodes have been released, with two still to come.
During the Game Developers Conference République was also used to demonstrate the cross-platform capabilities of Unity 5, so a console release always seemed a likely possibility.
Publishing duties for the PlayStation 4 release will be handled by GungHo, best known for Puzzle and Dragons and Ragnarok Odyssey.

Thumbsticks has a couple of main aims. We want to write interesting articles and cover games that most outlets won't, and we want to give opportunities to new writers and new voices. But it's hard to do that in the current financial climate. If you'd like to help us fund these aims, you could always buy the team a cup of coffee.
