Drinkbox Studios announce release date for vibrant slash ’em up, Severed.
The game will come to PlayStation Vita system in two short weeks, releasing on April 26th. It will be priced at a very reasonable €14.99/£11.99 in Europe and $14.99 in North America.
A new trailer has also been released that shows off the game’s stunning visuals. And the original soundtrack – composed by YAMANTAKA // SONIC TITAN with special guests Pantayo – is also now available to stream or download on Bandcamp.

“Since its initial release we’ve always loved the PS Vita, and we’re proud to be launching our third PS Vita game. We’ve spent the last two years making Severed into the best experience possible, and we really hope people enjoy the game when it arrives.”
We played Severed at GDC 2016 and came away impressed. The visuals, score and imaginative storytelling make the game a worthy follow-up to Guacamelee! and we hope it gets the attention of players beyond those who own a PS Vita.
