Drinkbox Studios’ touch-based, hack and slash game comes to Nintendo consoles but North American 3DS owners have to sit tight.
One time PS Vita exclusive, Severed, is now available on Nintendo’s Wii U and 3DS consoles around the world, just about.
The game is now available to buy on both consoles in Europe but the North American 3DS version is still in final testing, pending the go ahead from Nintendo of America.
However, if you own a Wii U you can buy the game now and get the 3DS version when it’s available. Severed is one of a select few titles released on Nintendo consoles that benefits from Cross-Buy, meaning you can buy the game on one platform and download it for free on the other. It’s just like Cross Buy on PlayStation, except saves don’t transfer. Sob.
To mark the game’s launch Severed is getting a one week, 10% discount, bringing it in at a very reasonable $13.49. The game is also featured in the #NindiesSummerJam event, an eShop promotion running throughout September which concludes next week with the release of Azure Striker Gunvolt 2.
And if you don’t own a Nintendo console you can also pick up Severed on iOS and the PlayStation Store.
