The third and final part of Sniper Elite 4’s Deathstorm campaign is out today.
Deathstorm Part 3: Obliteration sees happy-go-lucky agent Karl Fairburne back behind enemy lines, and back to Nazi Germany for the first time since 2012’s Sniper Elite V2.
Set in the Bavarian town of Steigerloch, Fairburne’s latest mission sees him tasked with rescuing Allied scientists, blowing up transport terminals, and taking down Bosch, the head of Deathstorm. All in a days work for our Karl.
Today’s update also includes two new maps. Facility comes to Sniper Elite 4‘s co-op survival mode, and Bunker adds a new multi-tiered arena map to the adversarial multiplayer. Also included are three new weapons, the M30 Drilling, the SVT semi-automatic rifle, and the M712 Mauser fully automatic pistol.
And if you are finding the game a little on the easy side, you might be tempted by the new Authentic Plus difficulty level which ramps up enemy AI to provide a tougher gameplay challenge. The increase in difficulty is rewarded with a smattering of new trophies and achievements.
Sniper Elite 4 is available now on PC, Xbox One and PlayStation 4.
