So who do we have? Well, Vulture, Scorpion, Electro, Rhino, and Mr Negative – who has been revealed in previous trailers.

If you are unaware, these villains make up a group called the Sinister Six – a nasty bunch set on bringing down the webby boy.

Fun fact: Sony was planning on developing the Sinister Six in its Amazing Spider-Man films, with Jamie Foxx stepping in to play Electro. It was terrible; the series died; then it was re-booted.

That probably won’t happen here, though, because it looks bloody brilliant.

The game is due out on September 7th this year, the official description of the game reads:

“Marvel’s Spider-Man features your favorite web-slinger in a story unlike any before it. Now a seasoned Super Hero, Peter Parker has been busy keeping crime off the streets as Spider-Man. Just as he’s ready to focus on life as Peter, a new villain threatens New York City. Faced with overwhelming odds and higher stakes, Spider-Man must rise up and be greater.”

And right now, with the current state of online publishing? It's tough to meet those goals! We hate to ask, but if you want us to continue writing what others won't, or to keep covering weird indie games, or to be able to give opportunities to new writers – and only if you can afford it – then please consider supporting us on Patreon.
